Brother Andrew Kane, O.S.F.

Brother Andrew (Nicholas Kane), a native of Kerry, received the Habit on August 28, 1868 and was professed on August 28, 1870. Among the schools in which he taught were the following: Our Lady of Mercy, Assumption, St. Ann's, St. Peter's, St. Mary's in Rondout, Kingston, N.Y. and St. Bonaventure's Academy, Flushing. After serving as a religious teacher for thirty-eight years, Brother Andrew died in St. Peter's Hospital, on January 8, 1906.
