As we celebrate Franciscan Month and commemorate the 800th Anniversary of the Transitus of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn were proud to bring together two of our cherished educational institutions in a beautiful celebration of faith and tradition.
The Gregorian Schola of Saint Anthony’s High School shared the timeless beauty of sacred chant during a special performance at St. Francis College, organized by Brother Gregory Cellini, O.S.F.
The gathering was attended by members of the St. Francis College administration, including President Timothy Cecere, a dedicated champion of Franciscan education and an enthusiastic supporter of the Saint Anthony’s Gregorian Schola.
Moments like these remind us of the enduring strength of our Franciscan mission and the special bond shared by the institutions that carry forward the legacy of Saint Francis.
800 years later, his message of peace, humility, and love continues to inspire new generations.
