Peace and all good! On behalf of all the Brothers, I would like to welcome you to explore our website. Here you will find information about our life, our ministries, and our spirituality. Imbued with the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, our Brothers daily challenge the world to see the beauty of life and recognize the work of our Creator in all whom we encounter. In our over 160 years in America, the Brothers have served in the educational and pastoral ministries in the New York area and beyond. Through societal changes and Church renewal, the Franciscan Brothers have called all to live in relationship with God and each other. This is the place to learn more about the Franciscan Brothers, keep up with Brothers you have known in the past, and meet some Brothers for the first time. We Brothers of the Third Order Regular of Saint Francis form a lay religious institute of pontifical right. we observe the life of the gospel through our prayer, apostolic works, and fraternity. we profess public vows of poverty, obedience, and chastity according to the rule and life of the brothers and sisters of the third order regular of saint francis. our call to penance is a continuous conversion. baptism begins our conversion; profession strengthens it; Our lives of religious consecration deepen it. Each day reveals to us more completely the fullness of God's love.
